
Jack Kirne is a writer and academic. His creative work has appeared in various publications including Necessary Fiction, the Meanjin blog, Subbed In and the anthologies Growing up Queer in Australia and New Australian Fiction (KYD). He recently completed his PhD at Deakin University. His research spans the disciplines of literary studies and creative writing. His research focuses on the intersections of cultural histories of climate change, environments, and geoengineering. His areas of expertise include literature and climate change, queer ecologies, and postcolonial texts and environments. Jack is working as an RA for the Climate Change Communication and Narratives Network.
